Ayrton Senna remains one of the most popular Motorsport figures and images of him are always in demand. This relatively close up image shows the driver at work in the cockpit. The McLaren MP4/8 was a very neat and attractive design and the first Ford powered MP4 after the withdrawal of Honda from F1. The car powered Senna to five wins in 1993, including Brazil, Monaco (the subject of the painting) and the final two races of the year.
