COMMISSIONS

Motorsport images are my speciality.

I can create memories of your time racing, which will last long after you have hung up your helmet. Whether you are looking for a painting which you can sell as prints to fund your racing, or present to a sponsor or supporter, quality is the key. By working to a high standard and including high levels of detail I will produce an image which gives you just what you need.

Working from a photograph, or photographs, I can compose an image of your machine with your desired colours and sponsors and in the right setting.

Before starting I will provide you with a rough mock up of the image so that you can check that it is to your desired specification. I will keep you supplied with regular updates as I progress so that you can see the project is on-track.

All projects require a deposit before commencing with the remainder payable only when you are satisfied with the finished result. Pricing depends on a number of factors including the size of the image, preparation involved before commencing and whether or not it is to be supplied framed.

For an estimate please email me at fergus@motorsports.ie.

TEAM PHOTO

The TAG IRL team is one of the most successful and long running teams in Irish Motorcycle Racing and this painting showcases bikes from three eras.

The 2020 Superbike on the right was the only one of the three present in the garage for the photo from which this image was complied. Working from old photos , the 2005 Supersport (left) and 2010 Superbike (middle) were created by painting the correct colour schemes and bodywork onto stand-in machines which were present on the day.

The image was commissioned by one of the teams riders as a thank you to the team owner and was supplied framed.

MOTORCYCLE RACING

This painting was produced using a picture of the clients bike which was on a very dark background.

An image of a different bike taken in the same area of track but from a different angle provided a view of a larger area of sky, rather than the dark trees and bushes, and elements of this were used to brighten up the painting.
