The Lola T330 is one of the most successful and long lived racing cars ever produced by the British manufacturer. The car sold in great numbers and took many race and championship wins in series all over the world. In later years it was used as a basis for single seater, full bodied CanAm cars. The one in the painting is from the Martin Birrane collection, housed in the Mondello Park Museum of Motorsport and was raced by Clay Regazonni and Damien Magee before being purchased by Martin Birrane.
